Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
For your dry ingredients, in a bowl combine:
-2 cups of flour
-1 tablespoon cornstarch
-1 teaspoon baking soda
Then in a mixing bowl add:
-1 cup of brown sugar (light or dark both work)
-1 cup of white sugar
-your brown butter (make sure it’s cooled down)
Mix, then slowly add:
-1 egg
-2 egg yolks
-2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
-the dry ingredients (add in a little at a time)
Mix until its a nice & smooth dough then add in 3 cups of chocolate chips.
Any chocolate chips will work, but my favorite combo is:
-1 (chopped) dark chocolate Lindt bar
-1 (chopped) milk chocolate Lindt bar
-1 cup of Ghirardelli grand chips
Fold in the chocolate, and roll 4 tablespoons worth of dough into balls, and let them sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Straight from the fridge, bake at 320 degrees for 13-17 minutes or until they’re cooked to your liking.
These are crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and best served with milk or ice cream.
Enjoy
