chicken breast broccoli recipes



Start out by thinly slicing 1.5 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breast.

Then add it to a bowl and evenly coat it with:
-1 tablespoon of cornstarch
-1 tablespoon of any high heat oil
-salt & pepper to taste

Then add it to a pan on medium-high heat with oil (I use grape seed oil but vegetable oil works too.) Cook until it’s browned then set aside.

Turn the heat down to medium and deglaze the pan with 1.5 cups of chicken broth.

Then add:
-4 cloves of minced garlic
-about 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh ginger
-3 tablespoons of soy sauce
-1/4 cup of Hoisin sauce
-1 tablespoon of sesame oil

Once this comes to a simmer, make a cornstarch slurry with 3 tablespoons of cornstarch and 3 table tablespoons of water and stir it in.

Then add in your chicken and about 4 cups of worth of broccoli florets that have been steamed for about 1 to 2 minutes (you want them to stay crunchy.)

Then mix it all in and serve with white rice
