peanut butter pumkin cake recipe
I made this for my good boy Milo’s 3rd birthday and he loved it. All of the ingredients in this cake are dog friendly. Please be aware if your dog has any unique allergies/sensitivities before making this for your furry friend
In a mixing bowl add:
-1/2 cup of unsweetened organic apple sauce
-1/2 cup of organic pumpkin puree
-1/2 cup of all natural peanut butter (with NO artificial sweeteners)
-1/2 cup of non fat plain greek yogurt
-2 eggs
Mix until well combined.
Then add:
-2 teaspoons of baking soda
-1.5 cups of whole wheat flour
Mix again.
Then grease a cake pan with olive or coconut oil,
(im used a 9 x 6 bone shaped pan and made 2 cake layers, but you can also make 12 cupcakes with this recipe.)
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
While the cake cools,
make the icing out of:
-1/2 cup of all natural peanut butter (with NO artificial sweeteners)
-1 cup of non fat plain greek yogurt
Mix until its fluffy, then spread it on to your cake once its cooled.
I decorated Milo’s cake with blueberries since it one of his favorite snacks
