Bang Bang Shrimp Recipe


In a bowl, mix together:
-3/4 cup of Mayo
-1/3 cup of sweet chili sauce
-1 tablespoon of sriracha
-1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar
(Add more Sriracha if you want it spicier)

Then in another bowl add:
-1 cup of buttermilk
-seasoning (I use Sazon, Adobo, garlic powder and paprika)

Mix it together, then add 1 pound of raw, peeled, and deveined shrimp with the tail off. Let it soak for about 15 minutes.


Then in a seperate bowl add:
-1 cup of cornstarch
-the same seasonings used for the buttermilk

Use a slotted spoon to remove the shrimp from the buttermilk and toss them in the cornstarch.Then fry in oil on medium heat until golden brown letting them rest on a cooling rack or a paper towel (I like to use peanut oil)

Coat the shrimp in the Bang Bang sauce and then top them off with green onion.
